The role and what we are looking for
We are looking for a proactive and customer service focused individual to join our established product and underwriting team. Our team underwrites commercial motor trade products in the Australian and New Zealand markets. The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to;
- Complete underwriting analysis to quotes presented and apply appropriate adjustments
- Provide accurate and timely underwriting support on transactions such as New Business quotations, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals.
- Assist with testing of system solutions, improvements, and new developments to the benefit of all members.
- Drive business objectives by developing long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders including sales and operational staff
- 2 + years of underwriting experience
- ASIC RG146 Tier 1 qualification
- Ability to analyse risk and make decisions
- Knowledge and understanding of Reinsurance arrangement
- Knowledge and understanding of PDS
- Previous experience using PURE or a similar program
