About the role:
We are looking for an Underwriter with Professional Indemnity experience to join our underwriting team in Melbourne to support our Chase Professional Risks team. This role will operate in a fast paced and exciting environment and service existing clients as well as prospect and quote on new business opportunities.
This role will see you:
- Preparing and communicating quotations, bindings, policy conditions and mid-term adjustments/ endorsements for administration processing
- Management of general inquiry mailbox to assess suitability of new business opportunities and assist with quotation
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and complies with organisation guidelines
- Develop and maintain good working relationships and service standards with insurance broker partners
- Working within a team of like-minded, ambitious underwriters
About You:
We are looking for candidates with:
- 2+ years of underwriting experience preferred
- Experience with underwriting Professional Indemnity products
- Confidence in developing and managing broker relationships through your passion for customer service
- Understanding of relevant insurance market conditions
