Make a difference as an Underwriter - Professional Risks
YOUR ROLE
As a member of an efficient team, your role involves assessing Professional Risks in the Schemes and Platforms (including Sunrise) sector.
You’ll evaluate risks within your authority and negotiate specific terms for each account. The goal is to create a well-rounded and profitable portfolio of Professional Indemnity and Directors & Officers risks.
You’ll deliver exceptional levels of customer service to both our Broking partners and internal customers, setting a standard that leads the industry.
This role requires a high level of attention to detail, negotiation skills, excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
This permanent role is based out of our Melbourne office and offers hybrid working conditions that support a mix of working from home and office.
Please note: To work from home, you’ll need high speed internet connection and a private home office set up.
ABOUT YOU
3+ years General Insurance experience is essential
Underwriting/Professional Risks experience is desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Results outcome focused
Experience with Sunrise products and/or scheme underwriting advantageous
