A leading workwear, uniform and safety company located in Lawnton is looking for a new Sales Account Manager who will specialise in Uniform (workwear) and Safety Products .
With a solid client base, they supply and distribute workwear & safety products from renowned local and international brands. With our focus on delivering Quality, Value and Service to our customers, we are making our mark in the Workwear and Safety industry.
We are looking for someone who is passionate for the success of their region. An honest person who works closely with our clients to resolve their workwear and safety needs.
You must have a willingness to visit our clients face to face as we are a big believer in having an invested relationship with our clients.
Reporting to the Franchisee/Sales Manager/Operations Manager, you will be responsible for actively driving revenue and profitability through a designated region. This will include building and nurturing long term trusted relationships with customers, visiting their business premises to provide mutually beneficial outcomes for both Hip Pocket Workwear and Safety and our customers.
You will be given a selection of existing clients to concentrate on but your efforts are expected to be on bringing new opportunities to our business. With an emphasis of being out on the road knocking on doors.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage and develop new and existing customers within a strategic portfolio in a designated geographical area.
- Drive the attainment of sales goals and KPIs.
- Seek out new business opportunities and negotiate contracts to establish new partnerships.
- Driven customer engagement and service.
- Manage initiatives and strategies to support sales growth.
- Promote a Safety First - Zero Harm safety culture.
To win at this role, you will need the following skills:
- A positive mindset – positive, upbeat with a customer-first focus.
- Experience - Either an entry-level Sales Person looking for road-based sales experience or an experienced Sales Gun with evidence of exceptional selling skills.
- Communication – proven negotiation and influencing skills gained through experience in a similar role.
- Self Confidence – not afraid of cold calling and love the thrill of bringing in new customers.
- Analytical - the ability to interpret and analyse data to formulate strategic plans.
- Organised – quick, flexible and have excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Stakeholder focus – an appreciation of the importance of good stakeholder relationships.
