About the Role
ABC has a vacancy for a highly motivated coordinator to provide administration and support as part of the Capital City Radio Content Support team.
As the Unit Coordinator, you will be responsible for rostering, financial and resource administration, special projects and assistance/support to our on-air teams as needed. You will also keep abreast of ABC policies and procedures and provide routine advice to staff as required.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Supporting staff across two locations, including organisation of initial office change and move logistics
- When required, checking and accurately putting information into the roster plan and timesheet, ensuring payments are correct and in line with ABC policy
- Processing invoices, payments and accounts
- Under direction of the Lead Unit Manager, assist with monitoring budget performance and variances, and other general finance tasks
- Assisting with creation of travel plans and accommodation requirements
- Assisting with support and planning of outside broadcasts and events
- Managing audience correspondence inboxes in a timely manner
- Work in a highly collaborative way with remote colleagues and stakeholders
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Unit Coordinator with:
- Previous experience as an office administrator
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organisational skills and ability to work both collaboratively and unsupervised
- Confidence using various software such as MS Office suite, MyRequests, SAP Finance and People Hub Workforce at an advanced level
