Student Services Officer (Qld) - Cairns

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Support Officer.   
If you are a vibrant, hard-working, and a team player this is the job for you.
You will be part of a small team of experienced Student Support Officers assisting students and helping them overcome language and cultural barriers.
This position is situated at our Cairns Campus.

Job description, but not limited to:

Respond to enquiries from students, prospective students, staff and education agents via phone, email and face-to-face.

• Liaise with students to ensure their ongoing needs are met especially in relation to accessing welfare-related support services where which impacts on their ability to meet their attendance and course progress requirements.
• Manage all student pre & post enrolment, academic & certification records
• Administration, filing and accurate data entry 
• Maintain a student management system
• Timely reports (internal and external) that comply with Frontier Education 
• Helping with student service, meeting with the students from different countries  
• General administration duties including handling email and telephone enquiries 
• Assist academic team in student service 
   

About YOU
Skills and experience requirements:
-Good English / Mandarin communication skills both written and oral 
-Strong attention to detail and time management skills
-Time Management
-High level of competency in MS office 
-Ability to learn and adapt to changes quickly 
-Used to work in a fast-paced place 

The successful applicant will have relevant work experience preferably in the tertiary/RTO sector, well-developed computer skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work in a flexible team environment, excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines with attention to detail, and a strong orientation to the provision of a high level of customer service.
