About the Job
As a User Researcher at TMGM Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products and services meet the needs and expectations of our users. You will be responsible for conducting user research activities to gather insights and feedback to inform the design and development process. Your work will involve a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and data analysis. This critical function contributes to helping leading brands drive innovation and foster robust customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Planning, designing, and conducting user research studies to gain a deep understanding of user behaviors, needs, and preferences.
- Utilizing various research methods, such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather qualitative and quantitative data.
- Analyzing and synthesizing research findings to derive actionable insights and recommendations for product and design decisions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers, to incorporate user feedback into the product development process.
- Advocating for user-centered design principles and promoting a strong User Experience culture within the organization.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in user research and experience design.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Marketing or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a User Researcher or similar role, conducting user research and usability testing.
- Strong knowledge of user research methods, both qualitative and quantitative, and experience in applying them effectively.
- Proficiency in using research tools and software, such as survey platforms and usability testing tools (e.g., UserTesting, Optimal Workshop).
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Tableau).
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from data and research findings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Bilingual proficient in English and Mandarin for both verbal and written communication.
- Experience working in finance industry is a plus.
