Requirements
- This role is for a professional who is committed to his or her craft and wants to deliver only the best.
- Has the background and experience as a professional chef learning the skills associated with what it means to be a professional chef.
- Must have spent time in kitchens recognized for their high culinary standards.
- Must be able to work independently and part of a team.
- Has a background in both ala carte and events.
- Understands the skills across all aspects of being a professional and is on that journey to become a chef.
- Can work in all sections of a kitchen competently.
- Needs to have at a minimum least 5 years' experience as a professional chef, post apprenticeship.
Duties
- To provide an efficient, friendly, and exceptional standard of service for members and guests
- Maintain the highest standard of food production.
- Assisting the senior chefs in preparing and executing menu changes
- Conducts periodical checks on all food deliveries and storage areas.
- Observe workplace hygiene and safe work practices are being adhered to
- Contribute to the morale of the kitchen brigade.
- Maintaining all service areas are stocked and ready for service.
- Ordering, stock rotation, checking deliveries.
- Able to oversee and train other culinary staff.
The suitable candidate must be a self-motivated, practically, and technically skilled culinary professional who has a passion to provide exceptional culinary experiences for our members and guests.
