Ayan Infotech are urgently looking for 2 * UX Designers for a 12 months contract in Sydney (Parramatta based).

Working from Home arrangements: The team currently attends the office 1-2 days a week, however as this is a Project, it will be that and on a needs basis
The UX Designer works as part of a multi-disciplinary team to research, design and assist in delivering exceptional customer and user experiences that achieve business outcomes and improve business efficiencies and processes. The role is user centric and requires solid user-centred design values, principles and practices; strong business analytics skills; excellent communication and stakeholder engagement and management skills; and be a master at juggling multiple projects and priorities.
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential Experience:
- Must have experience working with the Government. (Mandatory)
- Formal service design, UX or UI design training from recognised provider.
- Extensive experience in designing solutions for digital products or services.
- Experience with managing design systems in Figma, and strong UX knowledge across iOS, Android and desktop.
- Experience with typography and layout.
- Relevant experience with information architecture, responsive web.
- Knowledge of frontend web technologies, understand how things will be built.
- Experience delivering digital design within a digital team.
- Solid experience planning and conducting UX research.
- Use of project tools such as Jira, confluence and SharePoint.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with members of the Digital Portfolio Team to build, implement, release, support and maintain digital product suite including facilitating workshops, maintaining documentation and showcases.
- Apply technical skills in user experience and user interface design, including exploring the issue, researching, ideating, designing, testing, and measuring.
- Ability to use different methodologies and tools to solve different challenges.
- Lead user and customer research to inform design work and to iterate existing experience artefacts such as personas or customer journeys.
- Support viable and sustainable product solutions from design through discovery, framing and iterating development and continuous improvement within a Human-Centered Design (HCD) framework. Including but not limited to UI design, content modelling/design, information architecture, web standards and analytics design.
- Support usability, accessibility and user acceptance testing of digital services to ensure we provide users with a great experience while ensuring all requirements and guidelines are met.
- Stay up to date with the best user research practices, including User Interaction (UI), accessibility guidelines, and visual design practices.
