About the Business – Major Programs
Major Programs is responsible for leading a significant transformation program to reinvent the way we deliver digital services to South Australians to make it easier to do business with government. This includes digitising processes and removing unnecessary pain points to streamline customer interactions with the government.

Role Highlights

• Lead, plan & implement various methods & techniques to gather meaningful data
• Manage and conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative research
• Coordinate customer requirements & establish & implement design strategies

Role Details
The UX Designer will modernise, transform and deliver a range of sustainable, user-focused, digital government services for the South Australian community through delivering a range of customer-focused digital solutions that supports the government’s objectives and goals.
The UX Designer is responsible for designing, planning, leading, conducting, analysing and reporting on user-centred design, research and usability testing across a range of digital products to provide a consistent and quality user experience.

Special Conditions

• The incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
• The incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
• Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
• Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
• This role requires a National Criminal History check.

Salary Range
$104,938 - $113,435 p.a.
