About the Role
The User Experience (UX) Designer will be responsible for ensuring the University's Information Technology Solutions are designed and developed with the end-User Experience in mind.
You will lead and champion Human Centred Design (HCD) initiatives, which typically involves researching, analysing, and evaluating user needs and behaviors and then recommending approaches to improve the end-User Experience. They will identify strategic areas for improvement and recommend solutions to meeting goals efficiently.
About You
As the User Experience (UX) Designer, you will have:
- 5+ years experience as a User Experience (UX) Designer and demonstrated experience applying HCD principles and practices in a complex environment.
- Proven ability to create design solutions that harmonise functionality and aesthetics from a user-centred perspective.
- Knowledge of design tools and software, enabling creation of visually engaging and intuitive designs aligned with user expectations.
- Demonstrated skill in presenting design solutions to diverse stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, fostering understanding among cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops and discussions to drive productive and inclusive collaboration among stakeholders.
