Here’s where you come in

As a Validation Specialist, you’ll join a fast-paced environment that pushes you to achieve your best as you partner the business to deliver its products and improve its processes. As part of a multi-disciplined Validation Team, working with various and numerous stakeholders for projects across Mayne Pharma, you will be responsible for the execution of validation and qualification activities for the infrastructure and equipment associated with our multi-faceted pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

But you won’t do it alone. You’ll be supported every step of the way as part of a high achieving Validation Team. 

Reporting to the Validation Team Leader, your responsibilities at a glance will include: 

• Work in a cross-functional team to manage and implement all aspects of the qualification of pharmaceutical facilities, utilities and equipment
• Provide validation expertise to a cross functional team consisting of engineering, QA, development and production functions
• Responsible for protocol and report writing and execution
• Establish test procedures, document results, analyse failures and record observations
• Prepare CAPA plans for testing shortfalls and manage change controls for qualification activities and utilise V-model approach to validation
• Preferably have exposure to computer systems validation
• Have understanding of PIC/S and GAMP requirements

We select applicants based on capability and aptitude. But we also emphasise cultural fit. Therefore, you’ll need to have a positive mindset and be prepared to take ownership of your performance. 

We are seeking an experienced professional, with 3-5 years relevant experience in validation. You’ll also need to hold Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Science related fields and have experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.

A high standard of attention to detail and strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to communicate in a dynamic team environment with minimal supervision are a requirement in this role.
