The Compliance Program team oversees the delivery of Property Assessment Survey/ Detail Property Assessment Survey (PAS/DPAS), Fire Safety and Change of Use programs across the state, alongside other compliance and quality assurance initiatives for Fire Safety, Change of Use, PAS/DPAS via IT systems and quality assurance.
The Program Support Officer for Compliance programs is responsible for supporting as required in the delivery of compliance-related projects and programs. This will require responding to ad hoc requests to ensure timely delivery of program initiatives, as well as quality outcomes that fall within budget. To achieve this, the role will leverage IT systems for planning, monitoring progress, and reporting to stakeholders. This role may require travel across the state, including overnight stays where necessary.
What you'll do
As a Program Support Officer for Compliance programs, you will play a pivotal role in contributing to the implementation and coordination of compliance related work, doing so in a manner that delivers effective business unit outcomes and meets client service delivery needs.
You will be responsible for assisting with the research and analysis to support the preparation of project reports and documentation. This work will support Manager(s) in completing a range of matters related to building and maintenance compliance, such as delivering project progress information, reports, commentary and solutions. You will also undertake operational responsibilities that ensure clear communication of project progress to key stakeholders.
Providing project information, support, and identification of issues will be needed to assist the compliance team in ensuring client satisfaction and timely delivery of projects. Additionally, you will provide operational advice to assist with tender management in compliance with procurement policies and guidelines to support program delivery.
Furthermore, you will help administer contracts to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations and monitor project performance, implementing risk mitigation strategies in consultation with senior managers.
Additionally, you will provide operational assistance to resolve complaints, conduct investigations, identify root causes, propose corrective actions, and draft formal responses to complaints, including ministerial, in a timely and effective manner to ensure client satisfaction.
What we're looking for
- Compliance experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to achieving results and a commitment to quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated understanding of technology relevant to the work unit.
- Project, financial and stakeholder management experience.
- Qualifications in Engineering, Architectural, Building, Surveying, Project/Business management or related construction discipline.
- Current Driver's License
