Currently, we are in search of an experienced and VBA licensed Plumber to join our dedicated team.

About The Role

As a Licensed Plumber, you will play a vital role in aiding customers through the installation of multi-split system ACs under the Victorian government's energy-saving initiatives, focusing on transitioning homes from gas ducted heating to electric heating and cooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in the plumbing and installation of Multi-Split AC Systems, encompassing both indoor and outdoor units.
• Show dedication to attending daily appointments, and ensuring the efficient execution of AC installations.
• Showcase comprehensive knowledge of technical aspects, compliance, and strict adherence to air conditioning installation standards, codes, and VBA regulations.
• Apply skills in decommissioning existing plug-in heater systems, ensuring a smooth transition to the new AC installation.
• Commit to ensuring strict compliance with VBA standards throughout the entire AC installation process.
• Conduct thorough AC inspections and diagnostics, delivering effective solutions and recommendations to clients.
• Take responsibility for the efficient and organized management of supplies provided for installations.

Requirements

• VBA Plumbing License/Certification: Mandatory for consideration. You must hold a valid and up-to-date Victorian Building Authority License to legally operate as a plumber in the state of Victoria.
• VRF Certification: Highly preferred.
• ARC License: Must hold a current license for full refrigerant handling (ARCtick License) to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and to work with refrigeration systems.
• Refrigerated Air-conditioning Expertise: (Restricted to Intermediate Systems) - Indicates your ability to handle and manage moderately complex air-conditioning setups.
• Gasfitting Proficiency: (Restricted to Disconnect/Reconnect Tasks) - Ensuring safe and compliant gas installations.
• Gasfitting Skills: (Restricted to Type A Appliances) - Specialized installation and maintenance of domestic or commercial appliances.
• Residential Installations: Demonstrate your ability to set up and maintain plumbing, refrigeration, and gas systems in a residential setting.
• Driver's License: Must possess a current VIC Driver’s License and have access to a vehicle.
• Registered Aircon Installer: Demonstrated registration as an Aircon Installer.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel to regional areas as required.
