Role Overview:
As a Mower Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our open space parks. This hands-on position requires physical work on a daily basis.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Lawn Maintenance: Operating mowers and other horticultural machinery to maintain our large and small open space lawns.
- Schedule Adherence: Following mowing schedules and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Safety and Responsibility: Operating plant, vehicles, and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Chemical Application: Applying chemicals as needed for effective lawn care.
- Roadside Slashing: Keeping roadsides clear and well-maintained.
- Customer Service: Addressing customer requests promptly and professionally.
Essential Skills Required
- Experience in operation of front deck mower, tractor and implements and zero turn mowers
- Victorian Drivers Licence
- Must be able to work autonomously
- General horticultural knowledge
Desirable Skills
- Victorian MR Truck Licence
- Traffic Management Certificate
- Herbicide Spraying Licence
- First Aid Certificate (Level II)
