Our client is a family owned, market leader in innovative semi trailer design! They have developed a comprehensive range of quality semi trailers over the last 45 years.
They have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Boilermaker to join their team based in Salisbury.
This role involves all fabrication duties to do with maintenance & repairs of truck trailers. Including but not limited to the following:
- Reading blueprints, drawings & specifications
- Selecting, cleaning & preparing metal
- Using various welding techniques, bolting & riveting
- Cleaning, filing, chiseling & grinding
- Paint preparation etc.
To be successful in this position, you will need to tick all boxes below:
- Relevant Australian Trade Qualification
- Experience working in a similar environment
- Able to utilise a variety of hand & power tools
- Responsibility to work autonomously when required
- Knowledge to make repairs following correct procedures
