About the role
The purpose of this role is to confirm the identity of repaired written off vehicles, by inspecting vehicles in accordance with relevant inspection criteria. You will be responsible for providing attention to detail with the highest level of accuracy, care and quality service to our customers.
Key duties include:
- Review customer documentation and report all relevant information as instructed
- Inspect vehicle damage points and identification numbers to ensure they are consistent with customer documentation
- Prepare reports as required by the Operations Manager
- Carry out off-site inspections as required
- Liaise with administration staff regarding book-in times and relevant documentation
Safety is at the forefront of everything we do and to be employed in this role, you'll need to clear a pre-employment medical, which includes a fitness assessment and a drug and alcohol test.
About you
- Experience and a Qualification as a Panel Beater, Spray Painter or Mechanic
- Exposure to working in the automotive industry
- Customer service experience
- Administrative skills.
- Good decision making skills
