The Opportunity:
The role is responsible for engaging with vendors to prepare and process contracts as well as coordinating vendor performance, reports, and monitoring the hardware and software budgets.
The team that you will be joining deliver cutting-edge, innovative and cost-effective digital solutions and services across the organisation to enable the delivery of excellent in education and research & innovation. The team is currently repositioning to be a technology integrator, broker, trusted advisor and innovator whilst enabling the organisations strategies.
This is a 12-month contract opportunity working in a hybrid working environment (3 days on site in Newcastle per week).
Skills and Experience:
You’ll have the relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience and expertise in procurement, contracts administration or similar. You’ve got a background in the procurement of IT goods and services, contract administration and financial monitoring as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
You have the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions as well as exceptional customers service skills in a complex environment. Experience in the higher education industry is a bonus!
