We are looking for a Venue Manager to help us in all areas of the business. You may be in a similar role already or you are ready for growth in your career.
The role itself is a hands-on management role. A role that is vital to the operation of our resort leading the team in our Restaurant & Sports Bar (breakfast, lunch and dinner) catering to Tour Groups, Private Functions, and Corporate Functions; we need someone that can stand back and look at the big picture and think on their feet. You will manage the business alongside the Assistant Manager and Resort Manager.
You should be passionate and bring a team together by getting them on board to your way of thinking. Ideally, you will be well experienced in your field, and have a desire for training others to provide the service that our guests deserve.
Essential requirements:
- 2+ years of Bar or Venue Management experience
- Work with and communicate effectively with all departments
- Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- P&L understanding and ability to deep dive into financials to analyze where there is an opportunity to grow your business
- Ability to generate revenue-building ideas throughout all aspects of the business
- Presence on the floor during peak service periods,
- Be able to implement and execute promotions throughout the business successfully
- Have exceptional customer service skills
- Can lead people by example not just manage them
- Have strong communication skills
- Have a desire to grow and be successful

You will need
- Current Approved Managers Licence (WA)
- Strong Food & Beverage Knowledge
- Current National RSA
- Experience with RMS
- Experience with Groups and Functions
