We are seeking a professional and ambitious Venue Manager to join our team. As a key player in our fast-paced environment, your exceptional organisational and leadership skills will be instrumental in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day to day onboard operations
- The training and supervision of all hospitality staff
- Delegate efficiently and effectively to your team, putting in place sustainable structures and procedures to maximise performance and job satisfaction
- Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction across all events
Experience required:
- 5 - 10 years’ hospitality industry experience with event coordination and large scale venue management experience essential
- Knowledge of the social market and trends within Brisbane and Australia
- The ability to demonstrate a seamless service style with a record of achieving targets
- Friendly yet direct Management style, we are after a leader
- Marine experience will be highly regarded but not essential
The ideal candidate should have the following skills, knowledge and attributes:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with clients and staff
- Build trust through all forms of communication and relationships
- Exemplary administration and time management skills
- Proficient in using computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A high level of personal presentation
- Integrity demonstrated through words, thoughts and actions
- Determination and courage to reach goals and not shy away from a challenge
- Able to remain composed and multitask in a fast-paced environment, thinking outside the box is often required
- Passion for delivering exceptional client experiences with attention to detail in all respects
- Commitment to personal and professional excellence and consistency
- Hold a current or willing to obtain an RMLV and Approved Manager Licence
- Full time availability including late nights and weekends
- Awareness of risk management measures and safety protocols
