Venue Manager

A unique opportunity in the heart of the iconic Margaret River region.

Rio’s Margaret River is an established small bar with an eclectic food, beverage and event offering.

Reporting to the Directors, your focus will be the general management of the business.

You will lead a team that are customer focused and strive to always deliver the highest quality of service to our patrons. This is a full-time position.

Duties will include:

• Manage the day to day operations of the business.
• Maintain Health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and patrons.
• Ensure high standards of service and a welcoming atmosphere is maintained throughout the venue.
• Train and support staff across all aspects of the business.
• Manage recruitment, rosters and staffing.
• Manage and maintain inventory. 
• Develop and drive growth strategies and promotions to increase sales and profitability.

What you will bring to the role:

• An inspiring leadership style, comfortable working at pace whilst setting clear expectations.
• Display a customer first mindset.
• Strong communication skills.
• Have strong business acumen, using sound judgement to assess potential opportunities, make decisions and drive the business to deliver consistent growth across all departments.
• Hold a current WA Approved Manager Card
