We are seeking an individual with an Axe-uberant and outgoing personality, with experience in: 

• Leading a team of EPIC outgoing team members
• Managing an entertainment, sporting, or hospitality venue
• Building and training new teams
• F&B experience is essential for the Axe-citing rollout of a new food offering.

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

• Lead day-to-day operations of our venue in Brisbane, including rostering, ordering, and pumping up your team. This is largely a floor-based role. We're not based behind our desks.
• Meeting venue revenue and expense targets. A great bonus scheme, rewards hitting and exceeding these targets. 
• Coordinate and organise corporate events.
• Hiring, training and developing your team members to run fun and engaging sessions is a priority. 
• Going above and beyond for your guests to create axe-standing memories.
• Ensure operating procedures are implemented for all key venue activities to ensure compliance, cleanliness, and productivity.
• Ensure optimal stock levels and shrinkage controls are in place to reduce loss.
• Liaise and collaborate with the leadership team based in other states around Australia.
• You will be required to complete all administration and reporting requirements on time and as requested. 
• Proven track record in ensuring the highest quality of food and beverage offerings.
• Ability to take new food strategy rollout and own the strategy and direction within the venue.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• Experience in a leadership role, ideally in running an entertainment/sporting/hospitality venue
• Experience in implementing food and beverage strategies (previous roll-out experience is highly regarded).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Reliable and have the ability to work autonomously.
• Proven track record in leading staff effectively.
• Ability to cope under pressure - we get busy!!
• Capable, professional, and fun management style.
• Ability to learn our in-house software to manage bookings, rostering, and events
• Current First Aid Certificate, Responsible Service of Alcohol Accreditation and Police Clearance.
• Develop and execute a market-leading hospitality experience.
• With a strong commercial acumen, able to lead and engage a team of sales experts.
