Our renowned ski resort restaurant is seeking a dynamic and experienced Venue Manager to lead and create unforgettable guest experiences at Mt Buller!
Join Our Team at ‘Buller Hospitality’ part of ‘Buller Ski Lifts’ that run the Mountain.
ABOM consists of a Bistro, Foodhall and Whiskey and Blues Bar and we are seeking a person that can manage managers in those areas. We are looking for someone to join us on a fixed-term contract from May until October this year.

We operate 12 venues over the winter and career growth with the company is assured.
Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager your responsibilities will include the following.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and guest relations.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food and efficient service.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, including marketing initiatives and special events.
- Maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork, and providing guidance and support to staff members.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
