- Multiple VET Trainer positions available on a casual basis, across our South East Education Hubs
- The positions will teach: Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
- Hourly rate is $53.57 + 11% super
- Education Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award 2010
- A current valid Victorian Driver Licence is preferred
To be considered for these positions, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
- Relevant vocational qualification in either Individual Support or Early Childhood Education & Care; and current industry skills and experience
- Willingness to travel to AMES Australia sites across metropolitan Melbourne
- Valid current Drivers' Licence for Victoria, is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of training and assessment of nationally accredited Industry Training Packages, including requisite documentation and compliance
- Demonstrated extensive and current experience of working in business
- Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant industry, including WH&S codes, industry practice, labour market trends and opportunities
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deliver practical and innovative training to suit the adult learning profiles of CALD participants
- Relevant industry contacts highly desirable
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, including overseeing the operations of small work groups
- Self-motivated with well-developed time management, organisational and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated positive values of integrity, reliability and professionalism consistent with AMES Australia's vision
- Where an incumbent, at any time during their employment at AMES Australia, is engaged in child-related services as defined by the Working with Children Act 2005 (as amended from time to time), it is a mandatory requirement for that incumbent to have and maintain a current Working With Children Check (for employment purposes) before commencing in child-related work for the duration of the engagement
