Legacy WA are an iconic charity who provide life-changing support and connectivity for veteran families. Established in 1928, we have a wonderful history of service to the community in Western Australia. This is an exciting time to join us as we are currently growing and evolving to better support the needs of those that we serve.
As a result, a new position has been created which will work closely with veteran families to provide bespoke support solutions for their needs. This position will be based at Legacy House, West Perth and when required at the Veterans and Families Hub in Rockingham. You will be working within a small, passionate team within a supportive environment and undertaking vital work for these families in need, but work that is incredibly rewarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case management of our clients - veteran families and widows
- Coordination of support both internally and in collaboration with our community partners
- Widow pension claim support
- Coordination with our volunteers who provide mentoring, home visits and connectivity to our clients
- CRM case file management
- Reporting as required
- Supporting our community activities and events where required
Essential Key Criteria:
- Minimum Certificate III in Community Services.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working within the Community Services space
- Mental Health First Aid.
- Proficient in contemporary business systems, applications and CRM's
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Able to attain the following checks and qualifications: Working with Children Check and Police Clearance should you be offered the role

- Working with veterans or their families
- ATDP level 2 qualification.
The successful candidate will:
- Be provided training to attain an ADTP qualification - key to the role.
- Be eligible to salary sacrifice up to $16,000per annum
