Located just a short 35-minute drive from Brisbane, you'll be an integral part of this passionate veterinary team, united in their mission to provide exceptional medical care and service to their cherished clients and their beloved pets.
Why should I choose this Veterinarian position?
- You will be working with a happy collaborative team where numerous employees are long standing (5 – 10 years). Most employees don’t want to leave and quickly become part of the practice family!
- You will be supported by a team of 15 vets and 37 support staff along with 2 specifically dedicated training and development veterinary team leaders, 1 surgical and 1 medical, so you can learn and develop when you need in house.
- You will work a four-day week to ensure you keep work life balance.
- You will even have your own vet coordinator who will do all of your estimates, book in your appointments and surgeries and take care of any external specialist bookings for you. This provides yourself and your clients with more consistency with one point of contact – and provides you more time to focus on the things you love.
- This group of privately owned practices provide longer 30-minute consults for patients meaning less chaos and more emphasis on patient care.
- You will be allocated your own veterinary nurse daily – to improve communication and consistency, providing you more support.
- You will be provided a professional development allowance of 2,000 per annum – and allowed to accrue this from year to year.
- You will be provided 5 days paid conference leave each year.

- Salary package based on experience along with laptop
- Board registration paid for your initial year if relocating to QLD

About you
- You must be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon where 3 years’ experience would be highly regarded.
- You must be degree registered in Australia or have completed your veterinary board exams in Australia – with the ability to become registered in QLD.
- You must be able to work across day/evening and weekend shifts to ensure fairness across the veterinary team.
- You are flexible, resilient and someone who collaborates.
- You are confident, approachable, and empathetic.
