Position Overview: We are seeking passionate and skilled Veterinary Nurses to join our team on both a full-time and part-time basis. Our ideal candidates will play a crucial role in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the comfort and safety of our animal patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and medical procedures.
- Reception duties.
- Perform routine tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and dressing wounds.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, and provide post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate clients on animal care, including nutrition, behavior, and preventive health measures.
- Assist with laboratory procedures, including sample collection and analysis.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic and equipment.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience (1+ years) preferred.
- Friendly and compassionate towards animals and their owners.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Pleasant phone/reception manner.
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence in patient care.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
