MANAGER POSITION
FULL TIME
FELINE-ONLY PRACTICE
PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

Calling all cat-whispering vet nurses!

We are a busy, well-established practice and are currently the only feline only practice in WA. We are ISFM Gold Standard Cat Friendly accredited and pride ourselves on providing a high standard of care for both our clients and our patients.

We are a tight-knit team of 22 staff members, each one of us extremely passionate about our work.

We are looking for a senior veterinary nurse (ideally with management or head nurse experience) to join our team. You will be working alongside our Head Nurse and Director. Full training will be provided.

About the role:

  • You will be a visible, happy and collaborative clinic leader who is committed to our team’s wellbeing as well as success of the practice
  • Oversee and coordinate the operations of the clinic, as well as being fully engaged in client experience
  • Lead all employees and manage human resources including rosters, performance management, training and development
  • Liaise with the Director to manage financial performance of the clinic including budgets, stock control payroll etc
  • Work closely with our Director and Head Nurse who will provide full training for the role over 3-6 months

The successful applicant will need to;

  • Love cats
  • Be a friendly, dedicated team member with a positive attitude

  • Have excellent feline knowledge
  • Have a passion to provide exceptional patient and client care
  • Be able to work efficiently both as sole charge and as part of a team
  • Be able to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Be able to mentor and assist our junior staff members and students
  • Hold a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or higher
  • Ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ leadership experience
  • Ideally have experience with Vision VPM and Idexx laboratory equipment
