With a focus on Contracts & Compliance, Facilities and Financial Management, WHS, Risk & Strategy, and Customer Service, you will manage a diverse range of tasks and challenges.

Additionally, St Ives is excited to announce the development of Stage 3 of our Albany Village. This provides a unique opportunity to play a key role in the project management of this new property development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cultivating strong collaborative relationships with residents and committees to foster a positive culture within the community, promptly addressing any issues or complaints.
  • Managing all aspects of the Village's operations and financials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, annual budgets, village meetings, WHS, risk management, cost control processes, and reporting.
  • Leading and managing a small team to deliver high-quality service and drive continuous improvement in village operations, collaborating with stakeholders across the business.
  • Overseeing asset maintenance and improvement projects, including facility and contractor management.
  • Tendering contracts, ensuring service quality, and supervising contracted works, including participation in larger projects.
  • Contributing to strategic and business planning for the village.
  • Staying updated on relevant legislation and resident contracts.

Requirements of the role include:

  • Strong customer service focus, with a proven track record of building positive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling empathetic and respectful engagement with a diverse range of people.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience in contract management, WHS and risk, reporting and budgets, and facilities and business management.
  • Previous experience in Retirement Living or in managing facilities with complex requirements in another industry.

Possession of a current Driver's License, National Police Clearance, First Aid certificate, and full COVID-19 Vaccination (including boosters), are essential for this position at St Ives.

While not essential, a Certificate IV or higher in Business Studies and knowledge of relevant retirement village legislation would be advantageous.

As a St Ives team member, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:

  • A friendly and positive team culture.
  • Flexible work practices.
  • Health and well-being benefits, such as an employee assistance program, corporate discounts on health insurance, and well-being workshops.
  • Financial benefits, including RAC Roadside Assistance cover, paid parental leave, and an employee referral program.
  • Fun social events and a peer-nominated reward and recognition program.
