Pirathon has produced award winning South Australian wine for over a decade and we recently finished building and expanding our state of the art 480 tonne winery at Vine Vale.
Vintnerize owns and operates multiple vineyards across the Barossa and Clare with vineyards at Marananga, Vine Vale, Tanunda in the Barossa and our Gaelic Cemetery and Flatview vineyards at Stanley Flat.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking enthusiastic, hardworking Vineyard Operators for our Barossa and Clare Vineyards. These are exciting hands-on roles with the opportunity to produce high-quality fruit from our Barossa (45ha) Clare vineyards (55ha).
New equipment has been purchased and more equipment will be purchased to finalise all operational requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in all machinery operations including maintenance.
- Mechanical Pruners, Slashing, Spraying, Cultivation, Fertiliser application etc.
- Are patient, honest, dynamic, enthusiastic and capable of handling the physical requirements of working on a vineyard.
- Irrigation & trellis - monitoring and repairs.
- Implementing all activities, planting, vine training, pruning, Spraying, Fertiliser application, harvesting, cover cropping etc.
- Assist with vineyard expansion and redevelopment.
- Willing to work on other sites when requested.
- Be an Australian/NZ citizen or have permission to work in Australia long term.
- Have a car licence.
- Current ChemCert certificate or willing to obtain one.
