The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Vineyard Supervisor to join our team at Barossa Valley Estate.
Reporting to the Vineyard Manager, this hands-on role will be responsible for delivering successful vineyard operations outcomes, supervising vineyard contractors and contributing to our technical viticulture programme.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working closely with our Vineyard Manager to deliver the Annual Vineyard Management Plan
- Supervising contract labour teams and allocation of tasks
- Induction and training of vineyard contractors
- Regular data collection, monitoring and reporting against our technical viticulture programme to support decision making
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in co-ordinating and supervising vineyard teams
- Excellent communication skills and active contribution in a collaborative workplace
- Practical, hands-on vineyard or agricultural operations experience
- Proven understanding of vineyard technical programmes and their implementation
- Computer literacy
- Experience with Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare programmes

Applicants should be tertiary qualitied (or equivalent) and have 3 to 5 years experience in a supervisor role. You will have an understanding of vineyard operations, be able to demonstrate teamwork, have the courage to lead and have the motivation to deliver high quality outcomes in a dynamic workplace.
