About the opportunity
Based at our Lilydale site, the Virtual Job Coach role provides online based servicing to participants of our Disability Employment Services program. Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide comprehensive case management services to participants to assist them to manage employment related barriers, equipping them with the necessary tools and skills to enter the workforce
- Secure sustainable employment opportunities for participants and engage employers through referrals and reverse marketing of participants
- Provide ongoing support to participants and employers to maximise employment outcomes
- Maintain a high level of administration, compliance and time management in-line with Department requirements
- Engage with both internal and external partners to connect participants with various wrap-around services such as training providers, allied health services and other community based organisations
This is a permanent, part-time position and is office-based in Lilydale, Victoria. Days & hours are negotiable for the successful applicant.
About you
- Previous employment services or case management experience is desirable
- Experienced in utilising Microsoft Teams for virtual meetings, with an ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to virtual communication as they arise
- Familiar with handling documents electronically, including storing sensitive information and ensuring data security
- Ability to proactively problem solve, overcome objections, and assist in managing barriers that exist for people living with a disability
- Performance focused mindset and proven experience achieving business targets and KPI’s
- Comfortable operating under a government framework and making decisions in accordance with Department guidelines
- Must hold a Driver’s license and a Working with Children Check or relevant state equivalent (or are willing to apply for a WWCC).
- Applicants will be required to undertake a police check, it is not mandatory to have a clear criminal history.
