About the opportunity Based at our Lilydale site, the Virtual Job Coach role provides online based servicing to participants of our Disability Employment Services program. Your responsibilities will include: Provide comprehensive case management services to participants to assist them to manage employment related barriers, equipping them with the necessary tools and skills to enter the workforce Secure sustainable employment opportunities for participants and engage employers through referrals and reverse marketing of participants Provide ongoing support to participants and employers to maximise employment outcomes Maintain a high level of administration, compliance and time management in-line with Department requirements Engage with both internal and external partners to connect participants with various wrap-around services such as training providers, allied health services and other community based organisations This is a permanent, part-time position and is office-based in Lilydale, Victoria.
Days & hours are negotiable for the successful applicant. About you Previous employment services or case management experience is desirable Experienced in utilising Microsoft Teams for virtual meetings, with an ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to virtual communication as they arise Familiar with handling documents electronically, including storing sensitive information and ensuring data security Ability to proactively problem solve, overcome objections, and assist in managing barriers that exist for people living with a disability Performance focused mindset and proven experience achieving business targets and KPI’s Comfortable operating under a government framework and making decisions in accordance with Department guidelines Must hold a Driver’s license and a
Working with Children Check or relevant state equivalent (or are willing to apply for a WWCC). Applicants will be required to undertake a police check, it is not mandatory to have a clear criminal history.
