About the opportunity
The Virtual Job Coach role provides online based servicing to participants of our Disability Employment Services program. Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide comprehensive case management services to participants to assist them to manage employment related barriers, equipping them with the necessary tools and skills to enter the workforce
• Secure sustainable employment opportunities for participants and engage employers through referrals and reverse marketing of participants
• Provide ongoing support to participants and employers to maximise employment outcomes
• Maintain a high level of administration, compliance and time management in-line with Department requirements
• Engage with both internal and external partners to connect participants with various wrap-around services such as training providers, allied health services and other community based organisations

This position can be either part-time or full-time. Please note this position will be working in the office and servicing participants virtually through video and phone calls.

About you

• Previous employment services or case management experience is desirable
• Experienced in utilising Microsoft Teams for virtual meetings, with an ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to virtual communication as they arise
• Familiar with handling documents electronically, including storing sensitive information and ensuring data security
• Ability to proactively problem solve, overcome objections, and assist in managing barriers that exist for people living with a disability
• Performance focused mindset and proven experience achieving business targets and KPI's
• Comfortable operating under a government framework and making decisions in accordance with Department guidelines
• Must hold a Driver's license and a Working with Children Check or relevant state equivalent (or are willing to apply for a WWCC).
• Applicants will be required to undertake a police check, it is not mandatory to have a clear criminal history.
