Looking for a person with strong and diverse experience in corporate services, business operations & management skills, stakeholder engagement and client servicing preferably from the Tourism industry.
- Immediate start for a 3 months contract within local Govt

- work based in Adelaide CBD.
The duties of this role will include:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of each of the Visitor Information Services (VIS)
- Managing the digital Tour Booking Service including monthly financial reconciliation.
- Working with the Advisor, Tourism Industry Development to investigate, develop and implement new and innovative visitor experiences.
- Coordinating the recruitment, selection, retention, monitoring and evaluation of casual staff and volunteers.
- Liaising with tourism operators, internal stakeholders, industry bodies and other related businesses to ensure up to date and relevant information is made available through VIS..
To succeed:
- Knowledge of national tourism related information services with special insight into the South Australian tourism industry's products and services.
- Experience in delivering a high level of customer satisfaction in a customer service environment.
- Knowledge of marketing and proficiency with standard marketing tools.
- Ability to influence peers and business stakeholders.
- Relationship & Project management skills which underpin the timely development of projects.
- A demonstrated commitment to internal and external customers demonstrated through the provision of timely, reliable and expert advice on matters within the area of responsibility.
- Be organized, apply attention to detail, have effective communications skills and manage Workflow and resources whilst working in a dynamic and busy environment.
To apply:
- Must be a resident of SA with full rights
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles in tourism or related industry in South Australia.
- A tertiary qualification in Tourism, Marketing, Business or related field
- Previous experience in public sector local government.
- Must be available to commence in this contract by 1st April 2024 or earlier.
