The Role
In the role of a Visual Art Educator at KIDS ART FUN, you will be responsible for delivering term based Art Classes during weekdays after school hours. To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about teaching children and love for Visual Art and craft. It is important to be dedicated to providing excellent art education using the given resources.
Hours/Days
- Mondays to Friday from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Education, Experiences & Requirements
Bachelor of Education with a major in creative, graphic or Visual Arts. Alternatively, a degree with a major in creative, graphic or Visual Arts, followed by a postgraduate qualification in education such as a Graduate Diploma of Education. Applicants will be required to submit a portfolio and attend an interview.

- Must have an active Blue Card
- Previous experience working at an elementary school
- Submit portfolio and attend an interview
- Experienced in teaching Visual Arts to elementary age students
Duties & Tasks
- Teach students the practical skills, theory and history of art
- Demonstrate the use of art materials and tools
- Inspire students and assist them to develop their creativity and self-expression through various art forms and media
- Guiding discussions and supervising work in class
- Presenting prescribed curriculum using a range of teaching techniques and materials
- Maintaining class and scholastic records
- Maintaining discipline in classrooms
- Discussing individual progress and problems with students and parents when needed
- Be able to solve any problems smoothly
- Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively, and foster a positive team environment
