Job description

VET Program Coordinator role for Education discipline (Education Support) | Fremantle | Commence ASAP

Your new company

Located in Western Australia’s beautiful Fremantle district, this high-quality education provider offers a wide range of programs across vocational and higher education.  With a particularly strong reputation in the areas of Education and Health, this provider caters for a large number of students across Australia through a combination of face-to-face, online, and in-the-field training.  Their Vocational Program is a growing area of focus with strong investment backed by the continued demand in the education and health sectors.

Your new role

We are looking for a knowledgeable and expert educator to take on the coordination of the college’s education programs, including the certificate III in Education Support.   You will lead a team of educators delivering vocational courses in educational support, using your experience to ensure a high quality of delivery and student experience.  This is a growing team within the college and there will be an opportunity to utilise your expertise in the growth of this discipline. This is a full-time position, based on-site at the college's Fremantle Campus.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Be appropriately qualified with a certificate IV in training and assessment and a relevant tertiary teaching/educational support qualification.
  • Demonstrate experience and capabilities in working to current and towards future RTO standards and regulations.
  • Have proven experience in leadership of programs, including the ability to conduct training needs analysis, design capability frameworks and develop training programs aligned to industry needs and in line with VET regulatory frameworks.
  • Be an astute people leader with the ability to engage, lead and inspire quality outcomes in your trainers, leading to high levels of satisfaction and engagement in students.
  • Have strong relationship building skills, connecting and engaging with stakeholders in the sector, including schools and education providers offering placement opportunities to students.

What you'll get in return

You will thrive in this dynamic and busy educational context, capitalising on growth opportunities, developing and implementing quality educational programs and achieving excellent results for your students and the sector.  This is a full-time permanent position to commence as soon as possible.  This role is face to face, located at the college's Fremantle campus. Attractive salary, good ongoing career progression opportunities and a range of other staff benefits able to be offered by this large, established provider, such as higher than standard super, professional development leave, generous long-service leave and health and wellbeing programs, all make this an attractive place to work!

What you need to do now

If you're interested in this role, please submit your resume to Lincoln Gould at Hays Education and you will be provided with a full job description and contacted to discuss the role in full depth.
