Form of workWe are currently seeking experienced and highly motivated efficient personnel for our Western Australian Operations.
Multiple positions are available at various sites in the positions of:
Underground Mechanical Fitters/Heavy Duty Fitters/Light Vehicle Fitters- Rosters available: 8/6 days/nights & 7/7 days/nights
- Long-term, full-time positions
- FIFO from Perth
- Annual bonus with ongoing equipment training
All applicants will be required to meet the following employment criteria:
• Hold relevant trade certificate
• Must have a current police clearance
• Must have a current Australian driver's licence
• Must be capable of passing pre-employment medical & drug screen
• Must have or be able to obtain Surface and Underground inductions
It is desirable that diesel fitter/LV fitter applicants have:
• General heavy machinery experience in servicing & repairs
• Experience with Normet – Caterpillar - Volvo and Toyota will be highly regarded
• Experience in the underground environment will be highly regarded
• High level of diagnostic skill in hydraulic systems preferred
• Sound auto electrical knowledge
• Self-motivated and have leadership skills will be highly regarded
• Able to work unsupervised
