This role offers flexibility for candidates seeking ongoing work, providing stability for those looking to enhance their work-life balance, making it suitable for a wide range of candidates.About the RoleWagon Maintainers will be required perform examinations, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of rail rolling stock in accordance with procedures and protocols. Wagon Maintainers create a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with the Rail Safety and OH&S regulations on site and “in-field” operations.About you
- Experience in Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic, Mechanical Fitter, Fitter Machinist or Boilermaker Trade certification
- Must hold a valid Drivers Licence
- Able to work a 24/7 roster
- Able to successfully complete all Pre-employment Checks including:
- Category 1 Rail Medical
- Musculoskeletal Assessment
- Ongoing Drug and Alcohol testing
- Provide a current National Police Clearance
- Forklift Licence is desirable
