Boeing Defence Australia is looking for an Engineering Team Lead who is keen to be part of our Air Battle Management portfolio supporting the Wakulda Spiral Sustainment Program. We are looking for an Engineering Team Lead to take responsibility for planning, execution, and personnel management of a Wakulda Capability Enhancement Team. The team will be required to sustain and deliver complex Capability Enhancements to the Air Battle Management portfolio. We plan to engage 1 Engineering Team Lead in this recruitment activity.
This role is based in Brisbane.
About the roles

Experience and Qualifications
- Passion for establishing and fostering positive team cultures.
- Demonstrated technical leadership qualities, and ability to lead teams of technical personnel delivering technical solutions to our customers.
- Demonstrated personnel leadership qualities, including the ability to foster, develop, and sustain cross-functional teams as required by the business to support current and future objectives.
- High level communication and negotiation skills with a strong focus on building successful relationships with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Formal Project Management, Agile, Engineering, Business or Management qualifications is desired, however, prior experience will be considered.
- Experience in the estimating, planning, managing and reporting progress of technical work scope is desirable.
- Command and Control systems domain knowledge, systems engineering experience and other technical skills as relevant to each position will also be considered.
- Drive and passion to grow capability, mentor and coach teammates.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen and hold, or have ability to obtain, an Australian defence security clearance.
