We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Administration Clerk to join our small Manufacturing Warehouse Team in Garden Street, Kilsyth. This position would ideally suit someone with some exposure to warehouse operations.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Warehouse Manager, the role will have overall responsibility for the accurate and timely upkeep of all administrative tasks for the manufacturing warehouse.
Some of the responsibilities of this key role will include:
- Receipt manufacturing work orders daily.
- Raise branch transfers as required.
- Answering phone calls from internal and external stakeholders and taking action for urgent matters in consultation with the Manufacturing Warehouse Manager.
- Maintain overseas container arrival visual display board.
- Generate and process cycle count sheet.
- Hands-on involvement in annual stock takes as well as regular stock takes of product groups.
- Create rework “work orders”.
- Receipt local purchase orders for raw materials, inventory and non-stock items daily.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate skills in:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-skill.
- Have a professional telephone manner.
- Attention to detail.
- Understanding of Warehousing.
- Strong customer service focus.
- An understanding or previous experience using JD Edwards would be advantageous but not essential.
