Warehouse Administrator

THE ROLE 

This role is responsible for directly managing the administration tasks for despatching of goods from the Hallam warehouse including all pallet movements and the goods receipting of materials delivered to the Hallam warehouse. Data entry of movements within the warehouse (Production inbound, Picking outbound and transport movements). These functions should be carried out within a set time frame and cost and meet the agreed quality standards required. The role forms part of the operations team and coaches, mentors and trains other warehouse staff to achieve the required performance level. This role provides back up support to the Customer Service Administrator.

You will also: 

• Book delivery timeslots for relevant customer deliveries. 
• Prepare necessary delivery documentation including delivery notes and invoices for outgoing goods. 
• Schedule loading and delivery runs of local trucks, including pick-ups and interstate transfers, providing relevant documentation. 
• Proactively review outgoing customer orders and incoming goods ahead of time for appropriate preparation.
• Ensure supply of raw materials to production area as requested.       
• Accurate management of hired pallets including transfers on and off pallet accounts and minimise usage where possible.
• Keep up to date with dynamic industry trends and technology – how best to rationalise business operations to achieve efficiencies.
• Maintain all documentation in a formal manner.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE 

You will have significant experience in a similar role and demonstrated experience in Warehouse Administration  

The ability to manage time, set priorities and plan workload to meet objectives. Highly competent, with good knowledge and experience Sales Administration. Proficiency in the MS Office products - Microsoft Word and Excel, SAP B1 financial system. Demonstrate well developed customer services skills and experience - with both internal and external customers and suppliers. Skills, qualifications and experience relevant in a similar position within a high volume and fast-moving business -warehouse management/supply chain. Experience in managing freight forwarders, third party logistical providers.
