All Purpose Pumps has continued to grow over the years which facilitates a dedicated office and manufacturing facilities in Melbourne and Geelong in Victoria.Job SummaryWe are currently looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Warehouse and Dispatch Officer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to prepare, pack and book orders according to the delivery schedule, ensuring efficient operations within our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics operations and supply chain management, excellent communication skills, be physically fit to keep up with manual handling, and the ability to solve problems effectively.Responsibilities Pick and pack outgoing orders. Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using computerized systems. Implement safety protocols in accordance with company policies. Assist in loading/unloading trucks as needed and operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks. Monitor delivery schedules to meet customer demands effectively. Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment. Manual handling of goods and equipment. Manage incoming communications from internal teams as required. Skills/Qualifications 3 years previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics role. (desirable) Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehousing operations. Forklift license/certification. (desirable) Sound understanding of logistics operations including warehouse operations and materials handling. Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. Ability to work proactively and flexibly within a small team requiring little supervision. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with and build strong relationships with donors, suppliers, drivers, colleagues and management. Ability to problem-solve in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in using inventory management systems including Strong IT skills, including Microsoft suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
