Frankland Rural is a well-established family-owned business located in Frankland River in the Great Southern of Western Australia and is an independent member of the CRT network. Our expanding business is focused on providing a high level of service to our broadacre cropping, livestock and viticulture clients. Our working environment consists of a close-knit team of individuals with a range of skills and qualifications. This position reports to the Business Manager and works together with the whole team.
The key responsibilities include:
- Management and organisation of warehouse stock
- Management of segregation of dangerous and non-dangerous goods
- Forklift duties
- Customer service
- Provision of product and service information to customers
- Packing, wrapping and strapping of customers’ orders
- Management of deliveries to ensure placarded and loaded correctly
- Delivery of stock to customers in truck or utility vehicles
- Supervision of Shed Hand
- Weekly stocktakes
- Management of freight deliveries to warehouse, including checking off receipts and receipting stock into software program
- Management of Chep pallet agreement
- Management of gas levels and ordering as required
- Management of rubbish and recycling materials
- Management of empty chemical drums
- Bi-monthly Saturday morning shift
- Management of truck and forklift servicing and safety requirements
Required skills and experience:
- Heavy vehicle driver’s licence
- Dangerous Goods driver’s licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Interest in the agriculture industry
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and in a team
