Warehouse and Logistics Manager

Our expanding business is focused on providing a high level of service to our broadacre cropping, livestock and viticulture clients. Our working environment consists of a close-knit team of individuals with a range of skills and qualifications. This position reports to the Business Manager and works together with the whole team.

The key responsibilities include:

• Management and organisation of warehouse stock
• Management of segregation of dangerous and non-dangerous goods
• Forklift duties
• Customer service
• Provision of product and service information to customers
• Packing, wrapping and strapping of customers’ orders
• Management of deliveries to ensure placarded and loaded correctly
• Delivery of stock to customers in truck or utility vehicles
• Supervision of Shed Hand
• Weekly stocktakes
• Management of freight deliveries to warehouse, including checking off receipts and receipting stock into software program
• Management of Chep pallet agreement
• Management of gas levels and ordering as required
• Management of rubbish and recycling materials
• Management of empty chemical drums
• Bi-monthly Saturday morning shift
• Management of truck and forklift servicing and safety requirements

Required skills and experience:

• Heavy vehicle driver’s licence 
• Dangerous Goods driver’s licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
• Interest in the agriculture industry
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and in a team
