Warehouse Assistant

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Warehouse, Dispatch & Receiving Team. The successful candidate will be keen to work in a busy & diverse Warehouse, have attention to detail & a strong work ethic. Experience in working in a Warehouse role is essential. Having a fork lift licence is desirable, but not essential  

The role is broad and interesting and includes dispatch and receipt of goods, picking & packing outgoing stock orders, booking freight, unloading & storing incoming shipments, maintaining stock levels and other general stores related tasks.

The position is Full Time Permanent with a 3 month probation. 

Hours are 8.30am – 5.00pm, Monday – Friday.

Vintech Systems is a Hornsby based company specialising in the supply, installation and service of accommodation specific products to Hotels & Accommodation Facilities throughout Australia & the Southern Pacific Region. We supply & service a range of products including electronic locks and access control systems, in-room digital safes, minibars, & room management solutions. We have been in business for 30 years and continue to grow and flourish. 

Desirable Experience & Attributes for this position within the Warehouse Team: 

- This is a hands-on role, suited to a strong, physically fit applicant.

- A valid driver's license is essential.

- Forklift license desirable but not essential.

- Skills in using basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required.

- Aptitude for the understanding of, and willingness to learn, technical product knowledge, technical documentation and parts interpretation beneficial.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail essential.

- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required.

- Ability to work independently, and as part of a focused & vibrant team.

- A positive, solution-oriented attitude, and the ability to think on your feet.

- A keen willingness to tackle whatever is required, and the ability to prioritise & manage a variety of tasks.
