Warehouse Assistant/ Counter Sales

FlameStop Australia is the largest manufacturer and wholesaler of fire protection products.  We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic team member to join us in our Nerang Branch.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is already experienced in an all-rounder warehouse role or someone who is ready to take the next step and learn more about the admin and internal sales side of wholesale warehouse work. 

With a strong focus on organisation and attention to detail, you will do various warehouse operations and Counter Sales.

For this position it would be highly desirable that you have a current Forklift Licence.

The role is a permanent fulltime position working weekdays.  No weekend / Public Holiday work. 

Duties Include:

• Picking, packing and dispatching of customer orders
• High volume face to face customer service and order processing of walk-in trade customers
• Extinguisher Disposals, branding & pressure testing
• Booking in freight via online portals and over the phone
• Forklift operation
• Unloading & Loading Trucks
• Stock Organisation
• Inbound sales calls
• General sales assistant duties
• Maintaining the cleanliness of warehouse

We are looking for a candidate with the following attributes:

• Reliable and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Previous warehouse experience 
• Some previous sales and administration experience would give you a strong advantage over other applicants
• High attention to detail

Reporting to the Manager, you will be an integral cog in growing our Nerang branch.  There is lot's of opportunity to grow within the business for the right candidate.
