Jono and Johno is a leading importer and retailer in the Australian outdoor power machinery sector. The company operates two retail stores, in Ballarat and Warracknabeal, as well as a thriving online business. We have a terrific team of people working with us and place great emphasis on providing a safe, fun and friendly workplace.
We have an opportunity for a casual Pick-Packer to join us in our Delacombe warehouse. The role involves:
- accurately hand picking orders as per the picking list
- packing into postage boxes, labelling and putting into outward freight
- general warehouse duties including cleaning, assisting with product replenishment, unloading containers etc
This is a genuinely casual role. Shifts are usually 4 to 5 hours in length, starting anywhere from 7am to 8.30am and finishing by 12.30pm, between Monday to Friday. Your roster will vary from week to week depending on the volume of orders we're experiencing.
The right people for this role will have:
- Great attention to detail (reading small labels on high shelves)
- Ability to be on the move for the entire shift
- Ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks
- A great attitude, self motivated and desire to work as efficiently and safely as possible.
- Reasonable availability to do morning, weekday shifts.
- A forklift licence and/or MR Truck licence, whilst not essential, is a bonus!
