Altura Coffee has an entry level opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our crew in the warehouse/roastery. As a Warehouse Assistant, you’ll be responsible for end-to-end warehouse tasks such as receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching with a high attention to detail and adherence to our safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Picking & packing customer orders
- General Roastery & warehousing duties
- Packaging of Coffee & associated products
- Maintain general cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse
- Delivering coffee to cafes & businesses
Packing Power: When it's time to pack orders, you're on it. Whether it's a single bag or a bulk shipment, you make sure everything is packed securely and ready to roll.
In and Out: From receiving new deliveries to sending out orders, you're the gatekeeper of our goods. You check, double-check, and make sure everything's on track.
Warehouse Wizardry: Need something? You know exactly where it is. You keep our warehouse organized and running like a well-oiled machine.
Safety First: You're all about safety. You make sure our warehouse is clean, tidy, and safe for everyone working in it.
Team Player: You're not just a solo act. You work closely with the team to keep things running smoothly and make sure everyone's on the same page.
To be the successful applicant, you will need:
- A full drivers license
- Physically fit & the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- A knowledge of Adelaide & the greater metropolitan area
- To be self motivated, a team player and an ability to learn new skills
- A positive attitude with a 100% focus on customer service
- An interest or passion in the coffee industry is a bonus!
This Casual role will begin with approximately 24-32 hours per week. The hourly rate will be negotiable dependent on experience.
The successful applicant will be exposed to all facets of the coffee industry and the role will possibly lead to further opportunities within the company.
