Your future role
The Stores Supervisor has responsibility for coordinating stock, equipment, deliveries and outgoing goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier delivery and supply performance.
- Monitor stock holdings and ensure inventory does not become obsolete.
- Continually reviewing existing plant locations for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure sensitive consumable items are stored correctly to prevent deterioration.
- Ensure company engineering standards are followed without exception on all items within the workshop.
- Administratively and functionally adhere to Supply Chain Manager instructions and any problems arising are discussed with your Manager.
- Ensure products are packed and dispatched by the team as per instruction.
- Monitor tool dispatch with the stores team support (return and report of any missing or damaged tools)
- Actively participate in workshop safety meetings in order to ensure that all issues associated with safety, productivity, grievances etc. are adequately managed
- Continually model a positive team environment
- Promote all aspects of Austin Engineering to the betterment of the Company.
- Other duties as required by management within the scope of your abilities and knowledge.

Knowledge & Experience
- At least 5 years of industry experience as a supervisor in a stores environment.
- Sound knowledge using hand powered equipment.
- Forklift Ticket.
