The Role

This is a full-time ongoing position commencing as soon as possible.

This role provides advice and support on Procurement matters across Catholic Education of Western Australia (CEWA) worksites and supports in the negotiation and administration of medium to high risk / value purchasing, contracts, and general procurement requirements.

  • Salary range for this position is J1 to J4 on the CEO salary scale ($126, 288 - $141, 406 per annum) plus superannuation.

About you?

  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating and managing medium to high-risk contracts
  • Experience in medium to high-risk contract, procurement and tendering procedures
  • Proven experience in achieving cost reductions and savings targets
  • Experience using Zycus would be highly regarded
  • Notable experience in achieving cost reductions and savings targets
  • Demonstrated ability to assist in the identification and development of recommendations to improve procurement outcomes including analysing business spend and proposing strategies to consolidate and reduce costs
  • Sound computer literacy skills in a Microsoft office / Windows environment
  • Demonstrated high level communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to apply effective problem solving, analytical and negotiating skills
